CLAAS of America
This 25,000sqft building for CLAAS of America was constructed in 2012 and provides the client with an open storage shop, offices, training, inventory, and a 5,000sqft 2nd floor mezzanine space for additional storage.
The main building is constructed with a pre-engineered steel building system on a concrete pile and foundation system. A heavy-duty concrete slab throughout the 20,000sqft storage shop provides loading capacity for the endless storage racking in the building. The 5,000sqft office space is finished complete with a wood framed mezzanine structure above to provide an overall floor area of 30,000sqft.
The exterior building finishes are a combination of prefinished metal cladding, stucco and stone. Site development of 2 acres of fenced property complete with paved parking and landscaping help to complete the project exterior.
A unique feature of the project is the 28’ clear space inside the facility and the long bay purlin framing that provides flexibility in design and racking locations.
