CCRL Pre-engineered Building and Crane
This 17,000sqft project consisted of the supply and erection of a pre-engineered steel building complete with canopy structures at the doors, rubber coiling doors, and an interior overhead bridge crane.
The building is constructed with a 45’ high pre-engineered steel building with a prefinished standing seam metal roof system. The exterior walls are a 4” thick thermal wall system system constructed with a full height prefinished metal liner panel, 4” of roxul insulation on clips & hatbar, and a full height prefinished exterior metal panel.
VPM built this project on an existing concrete foundation and had many intriguing challenges along the way. The 45’ height of the project and full height fire separation of steel studs and sheeting created a challenge for the crews on site. Safety and control on the project was extremely important as this project was constructed on the refinery property therefore regulations of the client superseded standard safety regulations seen on other project sites.
