Grasslands Building 16
This project consists of constructing a new 7,200sqft conventional steel building with a concrete pile and grade beam foundation. The roof construction includes steel decking and an EPDM roof system.
The exterior walls are constructed with structural steel studs and a combination plywood/drywall exterior sheeted exterior. A combination of masonry, EIFS and fibre cement siding make up the exterior finishes of the building.
This building boasts architectural features on the exterior, which includes an upper and lower exposed steel canopy along the front, horizontal exposed steel surrounding the glazing at the southeast corner, and a vine trellis designed for added aesthetic to the buildings location. Located at the corner of a major intersection, this project stands as a focal point for the Grasslands area in Regina.
